   Day 01: Hanoi – Hue (breakfast)
Arrive in Hue. Pick up at the airport and transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon take a fascinating Dragon boat ride on the Perfume River to Thien Mu pagoda, a symbol of Hue. Visit the Imperial Citadel, built in 1804 on a site chosen in accordance with the principles of geomancy. We’ll visit the palaces and temples of the Imperial City, created in the 19th century and modeled after Beijing’s Forbidden City. There are many palaces and temples inside. Overnight in Hue.
   Day 02: Hue (breakfast)
Enjoy a full-day tour of Hue, visiting the tombs of Tu Duc, Khai Dinh and Minh Mang kings. Go shopping at Dong Ba market, famous for its conical hats. To round off the day's activities, we visit one of Hue's fine restaurants to sample some of the local delicacies; Hue is regarded by many as the culinary capital of Vietnam. Overnight in Hue.
   Day 03: Hue – Hoi an (breakfast)
Leave for Hoi An (140km, 87mi). Enjoy beautiful landscapes through the Hai Van Pass, (translation: Pass of the Ocean Clouds), marvelling at spectacular views of sky and sea. Stop over at Lang Co Beach. Visit Marble Mountain and the Cham museum in Da Nang before arriving in Hoi An. Check in to the hotel. Overnight in Hoi An.
   Day 04: Hoi an (breakfast)
Our day trip explores the World Heritage sites in Hoi An. From the 16th to 18th centuries, Hoi An was a thriving international commercial port for Chinese, Dutch, French, Japanese, Portuguese and Arab traders. These people came primarily to trade ceramics and high-grade silk, which is still produced in the area. Today, Hoi An is a quaint riverside town, popular with tourists for its eclectic architecture, tailor shops, and numerous cafes. Some of the buildings in the narrow streets have remained unchanged for more than a century. In the morning, we spend a half-day walking through the narrow winding streets of the ancient quarter visiting Chua Ong Pagoda, Chinese Assembly Halls, the 200-year-old Tam Ky ancestral house, and the Japanese Bridge. In the afternoon, we take a half day trip to My Son to see its architectural treasures and sculptures of Cham culture. Explore the ancient city’s traditional and original antique houses, temples and workshops. Overnight in Hoi An.
   Day 05: Hue – Hoi an (breakfast)
You are free at leisure before transferring from Hoi An to the airport in Da Nang for the flight to Saigon or Hanoi.

   Day 01: Welcome to Hanoi
Arrive at the airport in Hanoi, Vietnam’s capital city of tree-lined streets, colonial houses and centuries-old temples. You’ll be picked up and transferred to the hotel. Enjoy a water puppet show and a dinner with traditional folk show. Overnight in Hanoi.
   Day 02: Hanoi - Halong
The half-day city tour features both cultural and historical highlights, comprising Ho Chi Minh's mausoleum and his house on stilts, the One Pillar Pagoda, the Temple of Literature, Ethnology Museum, the Quan Thanh Temple, the Tran Quoc Pagoda, the old quarters and a downtown pedicab ride (1 hour). Leave for Halong (170km), a World Heritage site. Overnight in Halong.
   Day 03: Halong – Hanoi – Hoi an
Board a private boat for an astonishing cruise in Halong Bay (4 hours). Visit some magical grottoes and relax in the best scenic beauty of Vietnam. Lunch of fresh and fine seafood is served on board. Return straight to Hanoi Noi Bai airport for a short flight to Danang. Pick up at the airport and transfer to Hoi An. In the evening, taste and savor the delicacies of central Vietnam, arguably the finest cuisine in the country. Overnight in Hoi An.
   Day 04: Hoi an – Danang – Hue
Enjoy a morning tour of Hoi An, a centuries-old trading post of seafaring Chinese, Japanese and Portuguese merchants. In the afternoon, transfer to Hue (140km) with a stopover to visit the stone-carving village of Non Nuoc and the scenic Lang Co lagoon. In the evening, be the guest at a typical royal court dinner with a presentation of ancient dancing and court music which has been recognized as a World Intangible Heritage. Overnight in Hue.
   Day 05: Hue – Ho chi minh City
In the morning, visit the Imperial Citadel and the tombs of King Tu Duc and King Khai Dinh. The monuments, designed by the kings themselves, were also used as holiday retreats during their lifetime. In the afternoon, take a superb boat ride on the Perfume River to Thien Mu Pagoda, a 21-metre-high (69-foot-high) octagonal tower regarded as the symbol of Hue. Dive to the Dong Ba Market, famous for its conical hats. Transfer to Phu Bai airport (Hue) for a short flight to Ho Chi Minh City, formerly called Saigon, the largest and busiest city in Vietnam. Meeting at Tan Son Nhat airport and transfer to hotel. Enjoy a folk show and dinner. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
   Day 06: Excursion to Mekong Delta
Enjoy a full-day excursion to My Tho, 75km south of Ho Chi Minh City, a peaceful town on the bank of the Mekong River. The tour includes a cruise on the Mekong River, a visit to local homes and orchards, a sampan ride on palm-shaded creeks, a taste of seasonal fruit-and-honey tea and a performance of traditional southern singing. Lunch of Mekong specialties is organized. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
   Day 07: Departure from Ho chi minh City
The morning tour visits the major sights of colonial Ho Chi Minh City; it features the former Presidential Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, Old Saigon Post Office, Dong Khoi Street, Opera House and City Hall, and the History Museum. Spend your last minutes shopping downtown (ceramics, silver-carvings, silk) or at leisure before check-out. Transfer to Tan Son Nhat airport for departure.
